ABOUT IGTC+

Activity in oil and gas field in Indonesia is affected by the worldwide oil price down turn condition. In last two years, drilling activity has been slowing down and up to now there is small indication that it will bounce back to its previous condition. With the national production target of ±870,000 bbls per day whereas the country’s energy consumption is also increasing, the government still expect oil & gas operators to be proactive in exploring new fields and drill more wells. Therefore competent personnel are needed. Olinesia IGTC wants to be part of the team by providing education and training to improve and enhancing the skill of Geoscienceworkers in Indonesia, hence increasing the number of competent personnel needed in Exploration and Exploitation.

ABOUT GEX

Today Indonesia is producing only about 1,400 MW or 5% of its geothermal total capacity. By 2025, the government plans to increase installed capacity of geothermal electricity to 7,000 MW, which is five times growth in around 8 years. Competent personnel are needed to fulfill this ambitious target. Geothermal Education Excellence (GEx) wants to be part of the team in providing education and training specialized in Geothermal Drilling, hence increasing the number of competent personnel in Geothermal Drilling.
